We are a community-based, non-profit organization made up of volunteers. We are only as successful as you, our neighbors and community members, help us to be. There are many ways to be involved; financial support, volunteer help, donations, services rendered and skills put to use are all critical to our mission - and appreciated more than we can possibly express!

There are so many ways to volunteer! You can:
- Donate your time! From walking rescue dogs to transporting animals to veterinary appointments and assisting in rescues...we need you!
- Offer your creative skills! Can you build dog houses? Transform old tires or storage tubs into cat houses? We can use your talents!
- Offer your services! Are you a dog trainer? Pet groomer? Veterinarian or vet tech? Professional advice, discounted services, promoting/advertising (hanging posters at your place of business, sharing on your social media sites...) - any of these services are greatly appreciated!
PLEASE COMPLETE THE VOLUNTEER FORM WHICH YOU WILL FIND IN "APPLICATIONS" ABOVE
Fostering is not for everyone, but the rewards are enormous for those that are able to do so! The amount of love you receive from your fosters, the joy you share in when the perfect human adopts a rescue, the happiness your heart feels knowing you made a difference in even one animal's life ... all greatly outweigh the failures or losses we shoulder in this rescue life.
Whether our foster animals were loved and cared for at one time, or neglected, abused, discarded ... they are all in need of help and love. Knowing we all have different living arrangements and skill-sets, you can choose the type of animal that you are most comfortable fostering.

OUR VISION
We have so many aspirations!
Your support can be vital in helping our vision become a reality!
The vision we see for our rescue involves empowering community members through education, networking, and relationship building with other rescues and organizations. By educating the public on canine behavior, including breed specific behaviors and predispositions, as well as the importance of spaying/neutering and vaccinating our pets, we can envision a reduction in the number of abandoned and unwanted pets. Through networking, it is our desire to build strong ties with the community, increase the likelihood for lost pets to be returned to their families, and engage with other organizations and rescues for the benefit of our animal friends in the Basin community.
Here are a few of our current goals:
- Starting a low cost spay and neuter program,
- Conducting vaccine clinics for dogs and cats,
- Providing public education on the need to vaccinate, the benefits of spaying/neutering, and behavioral issues.
How can you help? By donating funds, services, supplies, expertise, time and ideas!
